Recently I had the opportunity to review Orglamix Mineral Makeup. First, I must tell you, I am a makeup addict…from foundation, to lipstick and everything in between..I will always try new products, but then stick with the ones I love. I have no problem trying out new colors – who knows what color will look good on me – the one type of makeup I have always shied away from though is mineral makeup. I don’t know why, it is not like me to shy away from any sort of makeup, so when I got the opportunity to review Orglamix Mineral Makeup I went ahead and took the leap!!!

When I received the items, they came in a cute little black tie bag. The customer service was great. I did not receive the products in the time stated, but Orglamix was just transferring over to a new shipping process and when I contacted Orglamix they were more than willing to help me finish my transaction. Cheri, the President, was nothing but professional and wanted to make sure that everything went smoothly, and it did!

So how did I like Orglamix?

Cinnamon Pure Organic Mineral Eye Color

I thought this color was a little to golden/bronze for me all by itself. However, when I combined it with a little bit of a brown eyeliner, it looked GREAT! I used it on my eyelids, as well as lined my lower eyelids. It went on completely smoothly and stayed on ALL DAY. In the evening, my daughter even said, “Close your eyes Mommy, I want to see the gold.”

Whole Grain Pure Organic Self Adjusting Mineral Foundation

Like I said previously, I have always shied away from Mineral Makeup and so to use Mineral Makeup as a Foundation was truly a change for me…I am used to liquid foundation! However, I was pleasantly surprised. Applying the Mineral Foundation was a little like applying powder all over your face, but without the mess and smell! I chose the Self Adjusting Mineral Foundation because although I have a light complexion, sometimes I have a little sun touch to my face in the summer so I did not want to go to light or too dark when choosing the color. When I first applied the Mineral Foundation I thought, “There is no way someone with a darker complexion than me could use this it is so light.”. However, as I proceeded to fully cover my face, it was apparent that first “thought” of mine was wrong. As you apply the Foundation, it genuinely blends to the color of your skin! Now, I don’t know if someone who has a significantly darker complexion than me could use this color, but several complexion types could. But even if you can’t that is OK because Orglamix has MULTIPLE shades to choose from!

Rosy Future Pure Organic Mineral Blush

I really loved the Rosy Future Pure Organic Mineral Blush! It was a great color and went on smoothly, and the best thing about it? You do not have to use a lot! It was just like applying a “powdered” blush, except you could deepen the color by adding more, or if you put on too much the first time, if you continue to use the brush, you could easily lighten it with no problem!
