I remember planning my wedding and thinking, “Holy Moly! Anything with the word “wedding” in it is expensive!” So I had to really work at finding the best quality wedding supplies, but without a hefty price tag! I found a lot of stuff online, but unfortunately for me, I did not know about Ann’s Bridal Bargains.
At Ann’s Bridal Bargains you can find just about everything you need to plan a spectacular wedding. From Wedding Invitations, to Wedding Favors, Wedding Decor, Bridesmaids Gifts and everything in between, I think you would be hard pressed not to find exactly what you were looking for, and for a good price, at Ann’s Bridal Bargains.
And check out these Wedding Napkins! At Ann’s Bridal Bargains you can get your Wedding Napkins Personalized for Free! How awesome is that?
These Wedding Napkins would have worked perfectly in my wedding.
With prices starting at 21.50 for 100 napkins, a wide variety of colors, AND FREE PERSONALIZATION, it is really hard to beat that price.
But, that Periwinkle color would not match Jenny & Mitch’s Wedding theme. I am thinking they would like this Plum Color better!
Who are Jenny & Mitch you ask? They are a couple who will be starting their lives together on June 18th.
I had the opportunity to ask Jenny a few questions about her life and her wedding and this is what she said.
1. How did you meet?
My fiancee, Mitch, and I met while we were both attending Ohio Northern University. I was studying pharmacy and he was studying sports management. We had several mutual friends but didn’t actually meet each other until Mitch’s senior year in 2008.
We both ended up at the same party and one of our mutual friends introduced us. We have been together ever since! After graduation, Mitch was accepted to graduate school at Northern Illinois University. So, the last two years we have been making a long distance relationship work since I was finishing up my Doctorate of Pharmacy degree in Ohio.
2. How did Mitch propose?
Mitch proposed to me in September 2009. He made a surprise visit on our one year anniversary. On our anniversary, we were just hanging out around the house when my dog, Shea, came bouncing in with a small pouch stuck in her collar.
When I removed the pouch, I found my engagement ring and then Mitch proposed! The past year we have been planning our wedding while living a couple states away.
3. What is the theme or color story of your wedding?
My wedding is taking place on June 18th. We are having a church ceremony followed by a reception at a local hall. The main color in my wedding is plum. We will also have little bits of pinks and greens as accent colors in the flowers and stationary. The most important thing to us is that our wedding is fun!
We have tried to include details that are fun and summery. We will be having a “candy buffet” that will serve as the favor for our guests. The candy buffet will include various chocolates and candies prepared by a local candy shop. I have a hard time articulating the theme of my wedding beyond that. However, my mother says that my wedding has a “whimsical” feel.
4. Was it hard to find inexpensive wedding supplies?
Our long engagement has allowed me to take my time in finding party supplies. I think this definitely helps in finding inexpensive party supplies. It still can be hard to find items anytime the word “wedding” is attached. I actually have done quite a bit of shopping online for the wedding. My bridesmaids will be wearing dresses that we found online. The dresses are beautiful and were a pretty good deal for the girls. I also found my flower girl’s dress at an online site.
My mother (my unofficial wedding planner) and I wanted something fun and beautiful for the table linens. We were able to find a beautiful plum sheer overlay for the tables at the reception. Buying this set of linens were actually cheaper than renting some of the linens from the reception hall. I’ve tried to balance purchasing items for the wedding with making/creating items. We are making our own programs, menus, table numbers, etc.
So you see, finding inexpensive wedding supplies can be done, but it can also be time consuming if you don’t know where to look. So, if you are planning a wedding, be sure to save yourself some time and money by checking out Ann’s Bridal Bargains.
Congratulations Jenny & Mitch!

I’ve never understood the trend for a newly wed couple to start out in debt, due to overspending on their wedding. The prices at Ann’s Bridal bargains seem really reasonable. Great site!
Wish I had know of this when planning my wedding! What a great resource for brides and grooms.
i really liked how you focused on the couple as well- so cute!
My good friend is getting married in September and I’m sure she wishes she heard about Ann’s Bridal Bargains before she started planning!
Jenny and Mitch are a cute couple! It is nice to know that finding inexpensive wedding supplies is possible!
This would have been great several years ago when I was planning my wedding. But guess what…my friend is actually planning her wedding and would love this site. I will forward his information to her. Thanks for sharing.
what a cute couple! Great site for savings as well. I could have used it
I could have used this when we got married 5 years ago. I tried to save money by making some of our own stuff… but it still was pricey…. and went on credit.
I remember how expensive my wedding was…ugg. This website sounds awesome though…wish I knew about it then!! I LOVE Jenny’s story…so cute and her colors sound very pretty too. Thanks for the info!
what a cute couple, Love the proposal story!
I hate that everything for weddings is twice as much as they should be, it’s so good to have the time to shop around and find the best prices and best shops to buy from! and yum on the candy buffet!
Congratulations to Jenny and Mitch!
I wish I’d had a store like this to shop from when I got married! Their prices look awesome.
