Hefty Coupon Unscented Kitchen Bags with Odor Block Technology

You know, I was only gone four days…FOUR DAYS! How did all of this trash end up in my house? My dogs decided to tear apart the kitchen trashcan and my kids decided it was time to shred paper and put it on the floor. What?

So I was really happy to have my Hefty Unscented Kitchen Bags with Odor Blocking Technology to use! I LOVE THEM! Smuckers Uncrustables Come in Handy When I am in a Hurry

Smuckers Uncrustables come in REALLY handy when I am in a hurry – and in my house, is there ever a time when I am not in a hurry? Oh yea, there was that time back in 2001….but I digress.

I found Smuckers Uncrustables when they first came out and we have used them ever since. I pack them with my kids lunches – start off frozen when I put them in the lunch bad, end up thawed by the time lunch comes! I also match them with some fruit for afterschool snacks! I will pull them out about lunch time so that when my kids get home from school they will have nice snack waiting for them!

My kids think these are “the bomb” and their favorite flavor is Peanut Butter and Grape on Whole Wheat. Peanut Butter and Strawberry Jam is a close second though. One flavor we haven’t tried yet is Peanut Butter and Honey on Wheat Bread.

We never like to admit it, but we aren’t all June Cleaver moms. I wish I had the time to do nothing but home make everything for my kids, but I don’t. I actually have a full time job, a full time blog, a house to take care of, kids that are in sports and at the end of the day I always wonder – Where the heck did my day go? That is why it is important for me to stay organized because if I don’t everything ends up on its head – the kids are late to school, the dogs don’t get fed, the house doesn’t get clean and at that point frustration starts in. Because our lives are so busy and because I am not June Cleaver, I do have to rely on things that make my life easier as well as organization.

As you can see above, Smuckers Uncrustables truly helps make my life easier – It makes lunch making faster (and the kids LOVE them by the way) and they also make great snacks. I can take Uncrustables with me to Reece’s football games and Betsy is always happy to eat one of those as opposed to buying something. I also match them with fruit for afterschool snacks.

Other things I do to help keep myself organized in my busy life:

On alternate days, each of my kids start a load of laundry before they go to school. On my lunch break I put the laundry in the dryer so when they get home from school all they have to do is fold them and put them away.
Each morning I make sure my sink is CLEAN. There is nothing that can make you feel more dirty than a sink full of dishes!
I keep a running “to-do” list on my office desk and when I complete a task, I check it off. If I don’t get it completed, it goes to the next days list.

Yoplait Tasting Event in Charlotte was a Success!

Yoplait Fiber One Yogurt hosted a Tasting Event at Carolina Place Mall in Pineville on Saturday July 17th and Sunday July 18th. I was lucky enough to be invited to attend this event. But, no! I did not go by myself! I brought along my posse including my mom and both my kids! Why should I be the only one to enjoy FREE SAMPLES of Yoplait Fiber One Yogurt??!!!

I walked into one side of the mall, knowing the Yoplait Fiber One Tasting Event was going to be held in Center Court, and boy was a shocked to see a “mini” Tasting Event! As you can see below in the picture, Nicole was at a table all by herself handing out free samples of Vanilla Yoplait Fiber One. Nicole was very courteous to us, as well as all the other mall shoppers that stopped by. We proceeded to sample the Vanilla, and I was pleasantly surprised. I really thought it might taste like cardboard, but to be honest, I kinda felt like I was eating vanilla pudding!

So we proceeded towards our destination of the Main Event.

When we arrived we saw lots of people milling around, kind of scared to walk up and grab a sample of Yoplait Fiber One Yogurt (Strawberry and Vanilla this time!). But not me and my posse!!! No, we went straight to the table and grabbed a sample of Strawberry this time! But not only were they giving away samples, but also 1.00 off coupons! HELLO!!! I will take that!

Daynica Brown was the Hostess with the Mostest of the event. Using a microphone she encouraged people to stop by and try a sample as well as giving everyone the scoop on Yoplait Fiber One Yogurt:

And yes, she encouraged shoppers to try and win prizes by entering the “Box of Flying Fiber Yoplait Fiber One” as I called it. It is a game where you step inside this big plastic box and when the “wind” is turned on, you need to try and catch 6 Flying Yoplait Fiber Ones, not the Flying Lettuce or Flying Rice Cakes. And NO…they weren’t REAL..they were pictures!

My kids and Mom convinced me to try…OMG..really? But I did it as you can see in the picture below…yes that is me looking like the crazy person I felt like in the box, and not only did I come out with 6 Flying Yoplait Fiber Ones, I came out with 12!!! WOO HOO!!! So I won a Yoplait Shopping bag, a Yoplait writing tablet, coupons for Yoplait, plus more samples of Yoplait Fiber One!

We had a really good time. The only thing that bummed me out is that I did not see any of my fellow bloggers there. It would have been nice to meet some of them!

At the end I took a vote. Which flavor did we like the best? It was 3 for Vanilla and 1 for Strawberry. I think it was well displayed and the people working there really seemed to enjoy what they were doing!
